USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) is the lead ship of the Ford-class aircraft carriers of the United States Navy. Commissioned in 2017, the ship represents the latest generation of American nuclear-powered supercarriers, featuring advanced technologies such as the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS). In 2026, the ship was deployed to the Middle East to support the US-Israeli war on Iran. However, due to reported issues with the ship's toilets and a fire in the laundry room, the ship was forced to withdraw from the conflict.
